BRENTWOOD, CA — Throughout the month of October, Brentwood, CA dentist Dr. Neda Naim is providing free consultation appointments individuals considering dental implant treatment.
Dr. Naim is a Brenwood, CA dental implants specialist who has provided hundreds of patients with natural looking, durable tooth implants. “Dental implants are truly a complete dental solution when it comes to restoring a natural looking, natural feeling mouth,” said Dr. Naim. “Dental implants replicate the feeling of real teeth to the extent that many patients forget they even have implants.”
Dental implants, unlike other restorative methods such as dentures and bridges, do not require support from surrounding teeth. Rather, the implant is anchored in the gum much like a real tooth. This saves patients from sacrificing their natural teeth to support a cosmetic restorative and makes the process of replacing implants far less severe compared to replacing other types of dental implants notes the Brentwood, CA cosmetic dentist. September 3, 2009 — WEST LOS ANGELES, CA — Even people with the best dental hygiene can have problems with cavities. But, thanks to diagnostic oral laser technology, dentists can literally see a cavity coming before tooth decay arrives.
Traditional methods of examining the oral cavity for cavities include visual inspection, magnified visual exams, or adjuncts to visual exams such as probes or X-rays of the oral cavity. But, visual exams and even X-rays can be misleading. For example, teeth often have discolorations that resemble a cavity. This often leads dentists to hold off on removing a cavity or operating on a tooth that is only discolored. However, diagnostic lasers use a light wavelength that only reacts to oral lesions in or on the tooth.
West LA cosmetic dentist Dr. Neda Naim uses the DIAGNOdent laser detection tool to examine her patient’s teeth and identify cavities forming in the early stages. According to the doctor, the tool significantly improves the visual and radiographic images of a tooth compared to other detection. This allows doctors and hygienists to better evaluate the presence of dental caries on the surface of the tooth or even submerged dental caries.

August 15, 2009 – SANTA MONICA, CA -Today’s dental patients are benefiting from major advancements in the dental industry that are reducing invasiveness and pain during treatment. But, that hasn’t changed the preconception of fear many dental patients face before heading to appointments. According to the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS Education), 30% of the population in the U.S. avoids the dentist due to fear. Little do they know that with the help of sedation dentistry, they can receive treatment that will give them healthy teeth and vibrant smiles, and they won’t feel a thing.
According to the Consumer Guide To Dentistry sedation therapy is used to provide patients with a relaxed, anxiety-free state of mind for dental appointments. Equally important to relaxation, sedation dentistry helps patients deal with pain. Rather than knocking a patient out for treatment, sedation allows patients to cope with high levels of fear and pain while conscious.
“It is no secret that people fear the dentist,” said Santa Monica, CA dentist Dr. Neda Naim. “But thanks to sedation therapy, dentists can help patients get past their anxiety whether it’s a routine appointment or surgery. As long as the conditions are right, dentists can administer sedation on a regular basis, so patients should have nothing to fear.” (more…)

July 27, 2009 — LOS ANGELES, CA — Braces. Invisalign. Veneers. Implants. Los Angeles, CA Dentist Dr. Neda Naim has joined the debate to help debunk what is becoming a field saturated with products.
“Choosing the right cosmetic application for patients looking to improve their smiles and overall well-being is difficult,” said Dr. Neda Naim. “Each and every patient has a unique situation demanding different treatment. Saturday, June 20, 2009 — LOS ANGELES — Seeing the probes, tubes, needles, and drills dentists use and hearing the drilling, scraping, and gurgling that come with even routine checkups can keep the hardiest individuals away from the dentist. However, at Dr. Neda Naim’s West Los Angeles dental office, patients don’t have to see, or hear, any of the treatment. Rather, thanks to audiovisual (A/V) i-glasses, patients can watch movies or television while in the dentist chair.
